Where's the Beach?

 

 

Florida was not the only place to take a hit from Hurricane Wilma.  The accompanying pictures were taken around 6:00 p.m. this evening.  The once buried pilings in front of the Star of the Sea have reappeared.  The tallest piling in the photos is over seven feet high!  After replenishment the pilings were one to three feet above the sand.

 

Also, tonight's seven o’clock WBOC-TV News reported that Route One was closed between Dewey Beach and Bethany Beach.

  

We’ll keep you posted as the winter passes.
