CITY MEETINGS

Two meetings of significance were held last week.  The first in a series of meetings regarding the City’s Comprehensive Development  Program (CDP) took place Monday August 1, 2005.  The CDP Implementation Oversight Committee met to work out procedural details and schedule future meetings.  Presently, the group includes two Commissioners—Richard Sargent and Patrick Gossett—Ron Paterson, Chair of the Planning Commission, and consultant Kyle Gulbronson.

The City’s Park & Shade Tree Commission met Tuesday, August 2, 2005.  It paved the way for consideration of a new Tree Ordinance drafted by Kyle Gulbronson.  Kathy McGuiness, Chair, distributed the proposed ordinance at the Commission meeting; it may be seen at the RBHA website: http://www.rbhomeowners.com/documents/MicrosoftWord-050802TreeOrd.pdf.  For your information, further meetings on this matter have been scheduled for Tuesday, August 23, 2005, 10:00am, Tuesday, September 13, 2:00pm, and Tuesday September 27, 2005, 10:00am.
