RBHA BOARD MEETING
The RBHA Board of Directors issued the agenda for its Saturday, January 17, 2009, meeting at All Saints Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Avenue starting at 9:00am. Under Old Business the Board will consider Wastewater – Further discussion and Tree Plaque for Jay Smith – An update. Under new business President, Linda Kauffman will introduce Parking Lot behind the fire hall – report and discussion. Various committee reports will also be presented.
BOARDWALK COMMITTEE MEETING
The City has issued the following Press Release (1/8/09) announcing a January 16th Boardwalk Committee meeting. Chairperson, Stan Mills has scheduled a Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk Committee meeting for Friday, January 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the City of Rehoboth Beach Commissioners’ Room at 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach,
Delaware. The meeting agenda includes:
- Roll Call
- Approval of the Agenda
- Correspondence
- Approval of the Minutes- - October 10, ’08
- Old Business:
- Update on Boardwalk Phase 1 Reconstruction Project including timeline
- Discuss and consider any additional lighting specifications, project specifications and electric needs.
- New Business
- Discuss and consider recommendations for future phasing of the ongoing boardwalk reconstruction Project including but not limited to discussion of identifying next phase(s);vehicle access points; boardwalk footprint; weight limits; vehicle restrictions, viewing platforms and foot showers.
- Discuss and consider recommendations for ongoing maintenance considering the potential for boardwalk section(s) being reconstructed in the next off-season or delayed beyond next offseason.
- Report of the Public Works Department on the effectiveness of first year use of cigarette butt waste containers placed along the Boardwalk and consideration of any actions based on the report.
- Discuss and consider off-season and in-season needs/amenities to include but not limited to benches, trashcans, bicycle racks and signage.
- Discussion of possible agenda items for future meetings.
- Set next meeting.

- Adjournment
